Why Does Someone Need My Stripe Account?
As explained earlier, drop shippers often use Stripe to process payments. However, Stripe is very strict with chargeback rates, and any account exceeding a 1% chargeback rate is at risk of being shut down.
This creates serious disruptions for drop shippers, as losing access to Stripe means they can’t quickly process payments and order the purchased products for their customers. To do this rely on Stripe’s “Instant Payout” feature, which allows them to access funds immediately to fulfill orders.

When Should I Stop Processing Payments on My Current Account?

Can I Transfer My Existing Subscriptions Or Recurring Payments To A New Account?

Disputes or chargebacks that occur during or after the account transfer will be charged to the aged Stripe account. This means that any unresolved disputes or chargebacks will remain associated with the original account, and the buyer will be responsible for addressing them.
What Is the Process for Completing the Account Transfer?
The transfer process will be guided by a member of the E-Com Accelerator team through a video call, where they will walk you through each step. During this call, we will ensure that your payment is handled directly, as we personally guarantee your payment in accordance with our agreement with the buyer.
The entire transfer process takes about 15 minutes, during which you will transfer ownership to the buyer, who will have provided their details to our team member. Following this, there will be an identity confirmation process initiated by Stripe within 24 to 48 hours to verify the transaction.
